Starlink covers a big chunk of Canada—and plenty of spots around the globe, too. If you’re venturing beyond Canada, just note there’s an additional fee to use the Starlink network abroad. Coverage can vary by location, so do a quick check on the Starlink coverage map (and maybe peek at the forecast while you’re at it) before you hit the road.
No way! Here’s the short version:
Yup. We ask for a refundable security deposit—typically $300 for Standard kits. As long as everything comes back in one piece, you’ll see that deposit returned to your account within 2–5 business days. Easy peasy.
If Bigfoot swipes your rental equipment or it ends up with damage beyond normal wear and tear, we’ll have to dip into your deposit to cover repair or replacement. If costs exceed your deposit, we’ll charge the difference to the card on file. Basically, treat your rental like it’s your new best friend.
All rentals are picked up and dropped off at our location. We’ll schedule a pickup time that works for you. When your adventure wraps up, bring everything back by the agreed date in its original protective case. That’s it! We’d love to hear your travel stories while you’re here, too.
Starlink is a big fan of clear skies. If you’re parked under a canopy of trees or nestled against a towering cliff, performance may dip. We recommend testing your spot with the Starlink app before you fully set up camp. If things still aren’t zipping along, our support team is just a call away.
Before pickup: You’ll snag a full refund (minus any processing fees) if you cancel.
After pickup: We’ll pro-rate your rental charge depending on how long you’ve had the kit. Your deposit is still refunded once we confirm everything’s returned safe and sound.
